Public health

When did you last go for a walk in the woods? What could you see, smell, hear?

There are so many benefits to losing yourself in the forest, and The Tree Planters are dedicated to providing spaces for all to enjoy.

Visits to local woodlands are excellent for both mental and physical wellbeing.  Forestry England, a division of the Forestry Commission, claims almost everyone would benefit from spending more time among trees.

As well as increasing physical activity, reducing obesity and relieving high blood pressure, going for regular walks in nature has been proven to reduce stress and restore psychological wellbeing. Woodland walks strengthen the immune system, and the tranquility of forests provides welcome relief from noise and air pollution.

That's why all our woodlands will be publicly accessible, for everyone.
